Commencement 2024

The Class of 2024, a group of individuals with unique experiences, showcased exceptional achievements, formed unbreakable connections, and demonstrated remarkable resilience as a community. Whether it be their involvement in Model UN, their passion for Jazz Roots and Rock Band, or their unwavering support for competing Solebury athletes, this senior class stands strong and united as they embark on their subsequent journeys in life.

The tradition of graduation dinner at the Athletic Center is the precursor to graduation. It serves as a time for the seniors and their families to come together and reflect on their Solebury journey. The evening included speeches by Tiyasha Sarkar ’24, 蒂姆·奥布莱恩，24岁, and Sarah Russo ’24, who shared their unique high school experiences. 山姆·派克曼，24岁, Sam Boyd, 24岁, Declan Roycroft ’24, and Jordan Mason ’24 presented the Class of 2024’s gift to the school. This year's senior gift featured hammocks as a symbol of relaxation and unity for the Solebury community.

On Saturday morning, 韦德娱乐app下载地址 welcomed the Class of 2024 into its alumni ranks.  It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony under the Graduation Oak among family, 朋友, 教师, 工作人员, 和校友. 汤姆Wilschutz, 校长, congratulated the class on the years of hard work and dedication that led to this momentous occasion. 

玛莎·迪克森24岁, Ryan Eichem, 24岁, 贾斯汀·戈尔德24岁, and Aum Desai ’24 were this year's Class of 2024 speakers. Each told heartfelt and unique stories that crafted their time as Solebury Spartans. 最后, 历史老师, 宿舍的父母, boys basketball coach, and most importantly, alumni Keson Bullock-Brown ’15 was chosen by the Class of 2024 to be the ceremony's 教师 speaker, highlighting the enduring connection between past and present members of the Solebury community as well as leaving the graduating class with multiple questions: “Who are you? What are my values? Why am I doing this? What am I here for?” These are all questions that will take a lifetime to answer. However, answering these questions will lead you to a better appreciation of the present moment.
